Don't got Control Panel > Mail

I don't have this icon in Control Panel for Outlook 2007 B2TR

I can't create or delete a profile

I can't point my old profile to my old PST file

Right clicking on Outlook shortcut then properties don't bring up this
control panel applet

Starting word 2007 B2TR and then looking in control panel doesn't do
anything

Switching to classic view in control panel doesn't do anything

Appreciate any suggestions. I just want to delete my old profile and
create a new one.

Thanks

Followed these instructions:

If not export the following key from the registry;
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows
Messaging Subsystem\Profiles]

Once exported delete it from the registry. This will remove all
profiles
configured for Outlook (just the profile NOT the data so you won't
loose
mail!) If this doesn't help you can import the key again.

Screw that damn applet

Did you get an Outlook desktop icon? If so, right-click it (Properties)
to get to the accounts and profiles manager (at least that is how 2003
works).

If you did not get the desktop icon, then you may be able to activate it
with the Windows XP Power Toy TweakUI. You can download it from the
Windows XP Power Toys download page.

How do I get one? I did a custom install. Can't find it under install
change options.

Thanks for your reply!

Are you running on a 64-bit operating system?

If your installation is an English version of Office, click Start>Run and
enter

%CommonProgramFiles%\system\MSMAPI\1033\MLCFG32.CPL

in the Open field, then click OK. If you're not using English, the "1033"
will be something else.
