Domains and workgroups

I have 2 laptops that are joined on a business client
server network and I would like to bring them hom and set
them up on my home network, which is peer-peer(workgroup).
The laptops are running win 2k and the home computers are
running WIN XP pro. Can I use a network setup disc on the
laptops without changing the business network settings?

No.

While you can change your laptop settings to be a workgroup or domain, you
don't want to switch your current domain settings to be a workgroup.

You will cause all sorts of issues when you bring your laptop back to work.

You can, however, still use your domain laptop at home, you may need to
manually map to resources/shares/printers vs. going to the network
neighborhood. Also some other tips would be add your domain username and
password to the other machines in your home so you don't encounter access
issues.
