Does XP have a mount and an umount command

A

Anthony Ewell

Hi All,

I have a multiboot system with a second removable SATA drive.
When I am booted into Linux, I use the "umount" command, turn power
off to the drive, remove the drive, install a second (different)
drive, issue the "mount" command, and I am ready to go.

Under XP and w2k, I have been powering the system off to
change the drives (rebooting). Is there a way under XP
that I do not have to power the system off?

Many thanks,
--Tony
