Does Windows Vista Accept Incoming Connections?

Roohollah Shafei

Hi,
In order to connect to a pc for remote connection and administration with
Windows XP, I would use "Create New Connection" Wizard of Network
Connections Panel. But I've not found nothing like that in Windows Vista. It
seems that the only way of remote connection to a pc with Vista OS, is a
remote connection through Internet. But it is so nonlogical for an operating
system like Vista to have only one way of (Internet)/(Local Area) Connection
for Remote Administration.
So is there any way to make Vista Answer the phone like XP OS by Accepting
Incoming Connections?

Thanks,

Did you enter *dial-up networking* in Vista's Help? Did you use Google and
entered *Vista dial-up networking*?

Windows Vista Home Basic and Premium can't be controlled remotely by Remote
Desktop. You can remote to another computer from those versions of Vista,
but they can't be remoted to using Remote Desktop.

Try some alternatives like Live Messenger, logmein.com, realvnc, or PC
Anywhere.
