Accept Incoming Connections ?

How do I setup vista to Accept Incoming Connections like XP and 2000 did? I
am trying to set it up for a direct cable connection (serial). I was able to
add the cable in the phone and modem settings, but I am unable to find any
wizard or such for setting up the connection. If you want details on exactly
what I'm trying to do, it's setup a tivo connection using a serial
connection. Step 3 in the link.

Thanks for any help

IIRC, Direct Cable Connections aren't being supported anymore...

i got into similar prob. but i found a way. its simple.

first of all, incomming connections, like in win xp are supported in vista.
setting up incomming connection is hidden under vista's new navigation system.

to setup new incomming connection:
- open network and sharing center
- click manage connections from left menu
- press Alt key, this will show you file menu
- from File menu, select new incomming connection

have fun.
