Does Windows 2000 Pro support Hyperthreading?

Am upgrading the hardware on my Win 2000 Pro system to a
new Gigabyte GA-8IK1100 board with P4 2.8cGHz HT
processor. Will I be able to utilize the Hyperthreading
feature on Win 2000 Pro, or will I need XP Pro?
Thanks in advance for your assistance.

You can try it but it is not "supported" in any official sense. Win2K
sees the HT processor as two separate CPU's and may not provide the
optimum use of the CPU because of that.
