Does dual display monitors, Ati 900xt

Does dual monitor displays decrease performance of video card??

yes but you will not notice it.
its a small preformance hit nothing to be worried about.
use a app like ultramon to set up single and dual displays. when you game
your not useing both monitors so may as well turn one off.

thanks i downloaded ultramon and its great especially been able to add
another taskbar and stuff very cool.

does it matter if i play games on monitor 2 while disabling the other
monitor?

No . You can play games on whatever monitor you want.
Ultra Mon is the coolest monitor management program ever.
