Documents in Word wll not print to my printer

My printer works fine for everything else, but will not print from
Word(2003). I have XP home edition and a HP 842C printer with current
drivers. Am I supposed to change a setting or something to get it to work?
This is a new computer and I have not used Word enough to know my way yet.
Any help is much appreciated....

JoAnne,

Select Print from the File drop down menu. Make sure that the HP 842C
printer is selected.

I have done that and it still will not print. It prints everything else fine,
but will not print from the word document.
