docking and panels

I have a form with a panel that is docked to the bottom, with a checkbox and
button in it.

In addition, I have a Datagrid (which is the main focus of the form) that is
docked as "Fill", however, the Datagrid fills out underneath the panel.

How do I properly do this so that the Datagrid doesnt fill underneath the
panel, and still get proper resizing?

I always add a panel and put the grid inside that. I'm not sure if you have
to, but it works pretty well for me.

Ah yes, thanks... apparently dock fill doesnt take into consideration any
other docked controls... bug or feature? ::tongue in cheek::
