I WANTED TO TELL EVERYONE & ASK THEM PLEASE DO NOT DO THE NEW WINDOWS XP
UPDATES!!! THEY ARE MORE HARM THAN GOOD.. THEY SAY ITS NEW SECURITY UPDATES..
IM SORRY BUT NO. THEY DON'T FIX YOUR COMPUTER, THEY MESS IT UP.. AFTER
DOWNLOADING, AND INSTALLING( I HAD TO SHUT DOWN, TO COMPLETE THE UPDATE) I
DID... AND NOW MY COMPUTER WONT OPEN WINDOWS.. IT TAKES ME TO THE BLACK
SCREEN, THAT SAYS "START IN SAFE MODE, lAST KNOWN GOOD CONFIG.. OR START
NORMALLY" IVE TRIED EVERY OPTION, WINDOWS WONT OPEN.. THE LAST UPDATES MESS
UP YOUR COMPUTER, IF YOU TRY TO OPEN WINDOWS, YOU CANT. AND EVEN IF YOU DO
SET A RESTORE POINT.. IT WONT DO ANY GOOD.. BECAUSE YOU WONT EVEN GET TO GO
BACK TO THAT RESTORE POINT. ALL YOU'LL SEE IS THAT LITTLE BLACKSCREEN. NO
MATTER WHAT YOU DO.. THEN YOULL BE SITTING HERE ON THE PHONE WITH MICROSOFT
FOR 5 HRS:) AND NOTHING WILL COME FROM THAT, YOU WILL HAVE LOST ALL YOUR
INFORMATION, AND POSSIBLY FRYED YOUR HARDDRIVE.. SO FOR THOSE PEOPLE WHINING
THAT THEIR UPDATES WONT INSTALL.. DONT WHINE. YOURE ONE OF THE LUCKY ONES..
EVERYONE IN MY TOWN THAT HAD WINDOWS XP.. THEIR COMPUTER HAS CRASHED AFTER
THE UPDATE.. SO FEEL LUCKY!!!! AND PLEASE.. DO NOT DOWNLOAD OR INSTALL THE
UPDATES.. IF YOU DO.. AND IT MESSES UP YOUR COMPUTER. SORRY BUT I WARNED YOU.

Fix your Caps Lock ky and you won't have problems. The updates install just fine 'here'
but, my Cpas Lock key isn't broken like yours.

im not sure what updates, but i do know its the latest security updates. my
case #1124815903 I just got off the phone with them.. and not by choice..
the SUPERVISOR hungup on me:) they started saying "its a hardware issue its
not the update" and so forth. they tried to do the boot from disk. but guess
what. i cant boot from disk because of the update. so they told me to go to
my manufacture or go to a pctech. and have them fix it.. i asked if they
would pay for it, they said no, that they couldnt help me.. they were rude. i
was really nice. considering i couldnt understand em much, because they are
Pakistanians. but i was still nice. until they told me to speak english,
shutup, and called me some not so nice names :). i told them "its not a
hardware issue, considering everything ran perfectly fine, until the update,
and considering everyone in my town that has xp has this problem" they argued
with me, and hungup. so im pretty ticked off.

I submitted a request for someone to look up that ticket
and asked it to be escalated.

I also said it was due to an update.
(I only have 4hr response on this forum)
So I'll let you know what the reply is.

People will both hear your concerns better, and take them more seriously,
when you stop yelling.

Your sentence above, for instance, is entirely understandable, while one
doesn't feel willing to even read the all-caps you previously posted.
