Do not deliver before

We have Exchange 2003 and Outlook 2003 and the Delivery Option does not work:
"Do not deliver before:"

Is there a reason for this?

The only way for this option to work is if the workstation and server are on
the same timezone...but we have a central hosting for exchange and all our
clients are
in another timezone.

Why does this feature not take that into consideration?

Thanks,
Exchange2003

there is a bug in cached mode - it should work in online mode. outlook 2003
sp2 should help. if it also fails in cache mode, let us know.

I have a similar situation but the server is running Outlook 2000. When the
desktops had Outlook 2000, the do not send before features work even with
Outlook closed on the desktop. Now with Outlook 2003 Outlook needs to stay
open for it to work.

Right. if you disable cache mode, it should work as expected in Ol2003 too
and Sp2 should fix it for cache mode. There is a hotfix and SP2 is just a
few more weeks away.

The cache mode is disabled on the desktop and it still doesn't work unless
Outlook is open. Please advice. Thanks.
