DNS/KEYPORTS

I am on wireless, quite oftenly my DNS goes off, I dont know why.
When I open my wireless connections and go into properties, it says the "data
encryption" is disabled. I turn this on so that my key is found automatically
(this is what I was originally told was the reason why DNS goes...) but after
reconnecting.. it turns off again and i find myself going round in circles!
Any suggestions/help please!

I don't know exactly what you mean by your "key" (WPA? WEP?) but I doubt it
has much to do with DNS specifically. When you next have the problem, go to
a command prompt and type

ipconfig /all <enter>

and see what you've got. Do you still have a valid IP address? DNS server
entries still there? Can you ping your default gateway? Ping your DNS server
IPs?
