Repairing Local Area Connection fails to complete because DNS cache
cannot be cleared. The commands ipconfig/displaydns and
ipconfig/flushdns also fail. Anyone have an idea how to repair dns
cache or what I should try next?
I uncovered this because my other computer (which I just upgraded from
Win98 to XP)is slow to open this one on my home network, so I went about
repairing all network connections. I see nothing different between the
two when I run ipconfig/all. I don't know that the dns cache is the
problem, but I'd like to fix it to see.
