DLink 604 wireless router

Hey guys you have helped me out heaps befor now try this one.
I have a Dlink 604 router and now have an extra network in my pc wich I have
now discovered that the guy two doors down has the same router and he has my
network in his pc. How can we block eachother from our pcs. Any idears ?

Enable the router's security stuff - WEP, WPA
and MAC filtering.

See the manual.

Your neighbor should do the same.

You will still "see" each other when you do an
Available Networks scan, but you won't be able
to connect.

The D-Link DI-604 is a wired, not wireless, router. If that's what
you have, I don't think it's possible that someone else's network is
appearing on your computer (or vice versa).

What exactly do you see, and where do you see it?

Are you seeing the Internet Gateway icon in the Network Connections
folder? That icon represents your router. Clicking the icon lets you
monitor and control the operation of your router. On your friend's
computer that icon represents his router, not yours.
