Distribution

I recently upgraded from Outlook 2000 to Outlook 2003. Many of the
distribution lists in my Contacts did not upgrade. DL's with only email
addresses upgraded fine, but DL's that had other DL's nested in them did
not. I even tried recreating a new DL by adding individual addresses as well
as other DL's. Outlook 2003 does not seem to recognize the "sub DL's".
With Outlook 2000 this was not a problem. Is there a way to create nested
distribution lists?
Thanks,
Jim R

DL's never survive migration.
DL's created from Contacts created in earlier versions rarely work.
In fact, DL's rarely work.
Most of us don't use them for that reason.

Russ,
Well these sure don't work!
If you don't use DL's, then what do you use?

Other ways to group Contacts such as Categories or separate Contact
Subfolders, usually the former.

Also, FWIW, nesting of DL's works the same in Outlook 2003 as in all other
versions.
