Hello I have mulpile distrabution lists....

when I send them at the top of the E-Mail it shows all the
recipients...

How do I get it to just show the user that it was sent to
them... like a BCC would... but in the To: filed...

Many Thanks

James

It shouldn't but if your ISP will not deliver the message without something
in the To: field, put you own address there.

I have a similar question. I've been using Outlook Express on a Mac and OE on a PC. The Mac has been the main email system, but I've recently have moved over to using the PC. On the PC is OE 6. On OE Mac, there is a flag you can set when you define a group indicating that you do not want the individual receipient's names to be displayed (in the To field). When sent, the name of the distribution list is put in the TO field and nothing more

From this thread it appears that OE 6 does not have the capability to do this in the same manner. Instead, it appears that you need to leave the To blank (<undisclosed recipient>) and us BCC instead

Is there no way to do something similar to OE Mac? I sure would be nice to have the distribution list name show up in the To field

Ask in an Outlook Express newsgroup.
