distorted images when browsing

Hi:

I have noticed several posts regarding the problem of
distorted images being displayed in the IE6 browser.

It seems to affect jpg images only, and makes pages with
heavy use of graphics impossible to use. My only solution
has been to use netscape to browse. Then, the graphics
display fine.

Anybody have any ideas? I can't find anything in the KB...

Are the images broken and appear one on top of the other? That's what I'm
getting sometimes. If I click and drag on the Web page, then the broken
contents fix themselves. It is terribly annoying.

No, this is a problem that affects each image. Clicking
and dragging has no effect on this...
