Display Properties

When I go into Display Properties, i cant choose or change any picture for my
desktop. The only thing I can change is the background colour, WHY cant i get
a pic on my desktop. The list of desktop pics is greyed out so i cant choose
anything. can someone help me please

The Desktop tab has a button for "Customize desktop", and the WEB tab there
will show a checkbox for "Lock the desktop" as well as perhaps a check in an
html page to use for it.
