Display items messed up

My one year old hit a lot of keys all at the same time and totally
reconfigured every display on my desktop. Everything is much larger that it
should me now; even open windows. He even made everthing go upside down for
a while (but I figured that one out). Is there a way to reset the factory
settings on EVERYTHING?

System Restore to before the Little Hit the Keys!.
Also you can try to adjust your display settings by doing this:
Right click on the Desktop, select properties on the Display properties
click on Appearance Tab and make these changes:
Windows and Buttons:
[ Windows XP style ][v]

Color scheme:
[ Default (Blue) ][v]
Font Size:
[ Normal ][v]

Click on Effects and uncheck this check box:
[ ] Use Large Icons

Click [OK], back on the Display Properties again click on Settings and
change the resolution:
Screen Resolution:
Less ____ â–¼_____ More
To say 1024 by 768 pixels
Click [Apply and see if it make the display any better or make more changes.
HTH.

Thank you so much! The system restore did not work, but everything else
seemed to fix it. It's a little hard to tell because I looked at it large
for so long it seems tiny now but thank you!

Hi Shannon,
You and the little are welcome, yes it does make sense if you have been
through all of these with upside down screen and big Font/icons take time to
adapt to it.
Good luck.

Hi -- I'm new here and I have the exact same problem (minus the child) that
Shannon had. I believe it was from trying to install Incredimail which I
then decided to just put in the recycle folder as it was using too much
memory.

How do I fix the huge "everything"??? It doesn't work for me to do the
appearance option. When I go there the font size if is "normal". I even
tried to change it to large and see what happened, but zip happened.

Do I need to "restore" -- if so, how do I do that? Thanks,

denise
