disk top icons

Hi when i first boot to my desk top the icon's on the desk top the icons
are ghosted for a short time then appear as they should...what causes
this....pls

Since you haven't told us anything about your computer, we can't give
you a good answer. Not enough memory perhaps? Too many things starting
with Windows?
