In Disk cleanup there is a selection called Temporary Files. This is
different than the Temorary Internet Files selection and deals with files
that are left behind after accessing and working with some programs, sending
attached files to work, deleting a program from Add/Remove, or when adding
and installing a new program. Normally I am very religious regarding running
Disk Cleanup anytime I find files in this selection along with the default
selections of Downloaded Program Files & Temporary Internet Files. My
question is , is it ok to delete all the files in this selection along with
the other two as normal mainenance? Will this cause problems for any
programs on my computer or with Windows XP w/SP2? I sometimes run this daily
to keep all the crap off my computer along with deleting all my cookies, temp
files, history, SSLState, and all auto completesin my IE. Any information
regarding this would be appreciated.
