Gerry,

Hope you can help me too. My computer became quite slow lately, and I did
the disk clean up. I selected everything recomended, then okeyed to delete
all. Later on I realized that I selected "office set up files" also in the
disk clean up window. It was to late, or at least I think that is the
problem. But, now, my xp does not open at all. I tried to restore it to an
earlier date, it does not help. What would you recommend.

Thanks.

FS,

Selecting the Office Setup Files option will insruct Disk Cleanup to delete the Office setup files folder (MSOCache). So, you may require the Office CD-ROM to repair/reinstall office applications in future.

Anyway, selecting that option does not corrupt the Operating System in any way. Perhaps you can provide more details about the problem you're facing.
