disk clean up

Hi, Im new to this site,and quite a numpty on my comp,but Im getting
better everyday.Can you tell me why when I try to use disk clean up it
takes ages to gather info and then when I press clean up it doesnt. The
first time I tried a box with run as appeared should that happen?I have
2 rug rats that use the comp also,and I dont think they know an awful
lot about comps either,they might have changed something,but neither of
them are saying anything.Hope you can help as I'm worried incase I run
out of space.Thanks in advance.

www.ccleaner.com is an excellent utility for cleaning the rubbish from your
drive ("ccleaner" = "crap cleaner").

Hi Wesley,tried these still no luck,when I tried automated fix got
myself in a right 2 and 8 hope I havnt gone and messed comp up
completely, managed to clear up some with the help of guided help but
that couldnt complete some of the stuff dont know what to do now,any
advice welcome,Thanks.

HI Wesley,answer to got myself in a right 2 and 8,it is cockney rhyming
slang and it means I was in a state (anguish) sorry I just presumed that
you were English,silly me.Still no luck with disk clean up,but comp
seems to be working ok...for now. Thanks anyway

Hi suzywong,

I am an American. But even if I were English, it wouldn't mean that I would
automatically understand Cockney rhyming slang. I doubt that Queen
Elizabeth II would. ;-)
