Disk Boot Failure

Danjll

I installed XP pro on a new system and it was fine until
I installed the motherboard drivers. I cleared the cmos,
re-formatted the hard drive and re-installed Windows. Now
when I start it up I get a "DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT
SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER" error message. What do I
need to do to get my computer to boot normally from the
hard drive again?

If you cleared your cmos, check your settings in the bios to make sure the
hard drive is turned on. Set to auto and reboot. Might also have to enable
ide channesl, depends on your bios.
