Disc Drive Ejects automatically

Why is it that every time my discs are finished(burning complete), the drive
ejects automatically,,..is there any suggession or comments to prevent this
or is this a standard on all computer disk drives,,,I don't want this to
happen because drive it located behind closed front door of my computer(it
will hit the door if I do not keep door open=could damage drive if I happen
to forget to keep door open)...If anyone knows of a way to prevent this(no
auto-eject after burning process),..please let me know as I am scared that I
will leave door closed by mistake and damage drive....,,

In which program ?

For XP CD Burning, the setting is here :
-Right click you CD Drive in My Computer,
-Choose Properties,
-Go to Recording tab,
-Uncheck "Automatically eject the CD after writing",
-Click OK.

Good Luck, Ayush.

For Nero 5.
File | Preferences | Expert Features tab |
Don't eject the CD after burning is finished

I do not know about other programs, but if you use the Verify option, Nero
will eject and reload the CD after it has been written. Afterwards it will
compare all files of the compilation and will check if the file has been
written correctly.

Hope this helps. Let us know.
