Disappearing Tools

When Windows Mail chose to compact my messages, I lost a tool bar on the top
as well as losing the ability to request a read receipt.

Then, Windows Mail help will not open all the way and takes up memory so I
can't even write an email message.

I have tried closing and re-opening windows mail and still things disappear.

Help!

Which antivirus are you running?
Windows Mail is not compatible with most McAfee or
Norton security programs. Those will need to be
uninstalled, not just disabled.

After uninstalling your non-compatible antivirus, download
and install a more compatible antivirus like the free Avast:

Even compatible antivirus programs will need to have their

Why, then, was I given Norton as part of the Windows Vista Package?

Because Norton pays (bribes) your computer seller to include
a trial copy, in the hopes that you will pay for a full copy
when the trial period runs out.
The incompatibility problem is not widely known outside of
this cadre of Windows Mail experts.

I lost my side bar on my Vista email, so that whenever I open my email, the
sidebar with my inbox, deleted items, junk mail, folders, that box
disappeared. Can someone help me reinstall that sidebar. thanx
