Disabling right-click

Hello:

I have the javascript to patch into my FrontPage web to disable right-click
captures of art. It works. However, it does not work on pictures that have
been Auto-Thumbnailed. Is the a setting preference OR dialog box for
Auto-Thumbnail tool behaviors?

Don't bother. You can disable the right click and I can still get your
pictures - and faster than the right click method.

You can't block right click when the link goes directly to a large image since no page is actually
being loaded.

Nothing more annoying than trying to create a shortcut to a site that looks interesting and have that stupid warning pop up....sorry, I just lost interest in going back to that site.

Rob, you can create a shortcut just by dragging the URL to your desktop from the IE address bar, no
need to right click.

Thanks for your responses. I am a giclee printer so my only image defense is
to show my clients' art at 72ppi (screen-rez) - obviously some online buyers
want to see it at a better rez before they buy 500.00 prints and I don't
blame them. Placing them in PDF's doesn't work because those are easily
cracked by other Adobe products. If I can go more than 72dpi any salty
photoshop artist can use filters and effects to interpolate up to acceptable
printing images (even at 96ppi).

Don't bother. You can disable the right click and I can still get your
pictures - and faster than the right click method.

The ppi / dpi settings in an image have absolutely zero effect on how the image displays in a
browser, as the are only used by printers.

Set the ppi / dpi to 1 or 2 and if they try to print the image they'll need a printer the size of a
billboard.

"protect" images.

As both will tell you along with those who already have you can't protect
images and no right click scripts not only piss people off but interfere
with behavior you want like bookmarking your page. There are a few things
you can do to slow people down and fool the less skilled but anything on the
web is available for copying.
