Disabling Microsoft Camera and Scanner Wizard

My wife accidentally said yes to a question about making
the Microsoft Camera and Scanner Wizard the default app
for downloading files from my digital camera. I want to
download pictures with the software that came with my
canon camera but now it's become a bit of a hassle as I
always have to cancel the Microsoft wizard first, then
open the canon software.

My question is how to I stop the wizard from
automatically starting every time I connect my camera? Is
there any way to go back to the default setting. In the
default setting I would be given a choice of applications
to choose from. Anyway, I can't find an answer to this
question anywhere. Can somebody help me?

Maybe if you connect your camera and go to...
Control Panel / Scanners and Cameras...
Right click the icon and choose Properties...
you might find some options you can adjust.

Also you might try right clicking the icon for
the Camera (probably shows as a removable
drive) choose properties / event tab.
