Disabling incoming calls in Widows XP Pro

M

Maui

Trying to install PC Anywhere 10.5. I havent had a
problem with it, except for the fact that the modem I have
installed keeps answering the incoming call BEFORE PC
Anywhere has a chance to answer the call. PC Anywhere's
help desk said that you can disable incoming calls in the
network connections tab of windows, but i dont have the
icon they are talking about.

In a real bind here, anybody have an idea?

thanks.

One thing - you should be using PCA 10.5.1 or higher for full XP
support...

Do you have any VPN/Incoming Servers shown in your Network Connections
Control Panel Applet? If so, remove those and then your machine
shouldn't answer phone calls on its own.
