Direct Cable Conection

Jim

I am trying to directly connect my laptop (Windows 98)
with direct cable connect by the following path
(Programs/Accessories/Communication/Direct cable
connect). However, when I go to my desktop (Windows 2000)
and follow (Programs/Accessories/Communication/...) there
is no Direct Cable Connection. Was it moved or not put in
2000? What is the step by step procedure?

To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
1. On the computer running Windows 2000, right-click My Network
Places, and then click Properties.
2. Make new connection for direct cable connection.
3. Right-click the direct cable connection, and then click
Properties.
4. On the Security tab, click Advanced, and then click Settings.
