I see no mention of the ability to start up on boot, set the time, and
immediately exit the program. That would be the ultimate for a single user.

Take a look at the screen shots and you'll see it:

Load Dimension 4 at startup
Once loaded, wait until online
Synchronize once, then exit

and also

Start minimized
Hide when minimizes

It's one of the options. Look for "Synchronize once, then exit".
