Has anyone actually managed to get this scanner working in Vista.
Please don't suggest Vuescan as I have already tried. I just want to
know if someone actually has suceeded.

Hi there

I have the same problem and wondered if you have had any success in
resolving it yet?!

Thanks

right click your scanning program (VueScan or whatever) click
properties, then click compatibility tab - then choose a compatibility
mode. Does this work?

Which version ov VueScan did you try? Current version seems to have
vista working much better.

No.

I have created a dual boot system on the machine. I am sure it is a
drivers issue with vista.

and have you tried the *latest* version of VueScan?
Version 8.4.23 is now out - and the notes say it resolves some vista
issues and has vista signatures.

or do you have some anti-vuescan issue?

or have you tried the *nix version of vuescan? also available at the
same url as above. I assume that is what your other boot partition is?

It is very easy!

Install the latest version of VueScan and check if scanner is working properly.
After reboot install the "Dimache" software and the orriginal software can be used normally under Vista 64 bit.
