Difficulty compressing music files

I mistaking put my music onto the hardrive in WAV lossless format hoping i
could fit my music onto a data cd. I actually ended up with approximatly 3.5
GB and it's too large for the CD. Any ideas how I can compress what i have
rather than start again?

I'm currently running XP with the files in "My Music". I use Phillips Music
match Jukebox but this is only to listen to it, i do not use it to record.

Download the converter from below website and convert ONE (1) of
your songs from WAVE lossless to MP3 which means compressed to
compare the size of the MP3 file with the WAV file.
Most MP3 will not compress further without audio effect. An average
MP3 song is 1 Mb for each minute of playing time.
