the differences between NT 4.0 and windows 2000 are as
diverse as the difference between night and day. Pick up
a book on NT 4.0 and one on 2000 and compare the
capabilities between the two. It would take about 1000
pages to describe the differences between the two OS's.
If you have a job interview and don't know the
differences between the two, GOD HELP the company you're
interviewing with if you should be selected for the job.
You darned sure wouldn't stand a chance with my company,
based on your question here.

It is true that Windows NT 4.0 does not have support for
USB. There are alot of differences between NT 4.0 and
Windows 2000 Pro. Here are some.

1. Windows 2000 has stricter security policies.
2. Windows 2000 will allow you to run things as an
administrator when logged in as a typical user.
3. No plug in play in NT.
4. No Internet connection sharing in NT
5. Windows NT is not ACPI compliant.
6. No DVD support in NT.
7. No media bay swapping in NT
8. No hardware trouble shooter in NT.
9. Not data encryption and dynamic storage in NT.

There is alot more. I hope this helps you.
