Dialup Networking saves extra characters in the password

R

Ray

I was wondering if anybody could help me. I'm using
Windows XP and when I try to dialup to my internet
provider, the password section in DUN is blank, I enter
my password and click on the Save Password check box but
when I try to log on again (after disconnection), the
section where I entered my password contains extra
characters (letters that are longer than my actual
password). If anyone knows I can get rid of this little
problem please reply back. Thanks!

This is fairly common practice with dailup password
connection and should not prevent you from loggong on.
It's a type of security feature. I'm sure your password
will still work if you try it.
