Dialup connection disconnects

When i am online, my dialup connection disconnects after 15 mins.
This is very annoying as i have to re-dial in every time it stops.
Plus this means i cant download anything that takes more than 15 mins.
I've checked my settings and cant seem to find anything relating to a time
limit on connections.
Please, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Does your ISP have a time limit?

Checked on ISP connections and the only thing i can see relating to time
limits is it asks to disconnect if left idle for so many mins.
This was set to 59 mins so i dont know why it stops after 15.
Also, I clicked on this option to de-select it and it has not made any
difference.

Check with your ISP - some of them will kill the connection from their end
if there is no activity from your end. By activity it is usually looking for
mouse movement or web page change.
