I am having a problem I can't seem to find the correct solution to
(and I work for IBM even *sigh*)
I recently installed SP2 for Windows XP and ever since I often get the
Diap-Up Connections Box popping up on me and I can't permanently stop
it! I have a cable modem so I am always connected......but it STILL
pops up to ask me to dial a connection!
Now I have tried the following:
1) in IE Gone to TOOLS and CONNECTIONS and set it to "NEVER DIAL a
CONNECTION". Well that choice NEVER stays permanent whatever I do!
It always reverts back to "Dial whenever a network connection is not
present"! I always have to change it.
2) Under Network conenctions went to ADVANCED and Dial Uppreferences
and selected "Diasble autodial while I am logged on". Now at least
THAT stays as I select it.
What am I missing to fix my problem and the problem in #1?
Thanks!
