DHCP broadcast's

I am getting " denied UDP packet from lan " errors on my
firewall syslog.
The source of this error is from my DHCP server over port
68 and it's getting denied trying to broadcast to port 67.

So it appears my DHCP server is trying to request an IP
address, why ? I only have 1 Nic installed and it's a
static address - It's annoying me.... Any help would be
appreciated
