DEVLDR message

Hi, I hope someone can tell me what this means. When my computer starts up,
I log onto my "account" and then the following message appears

DEVLDR: devldr 32.exe - no disk
There is no disk in the drive.
Please insert a disk into drive\device\Harddisk1\DR12

I run XP with a big hard drive formatted into 3 sections (as OEM). I have
DVD-RW and CD/DVD drives. I recently installed a creative sound card, but
was getting the message before then.

Many thanks, in advance,
Des

Since you had this error prior to installing your new one,
you may have some components left over from the old card.
I suggest to go to the (un)Creative support site Knowledge
Base and search for solution ID # 14834:
http://us.creative.com//support/
Follow this article exactly to completely remove all
Soundblaster software from your system. After restarting,
the wizard will detect new hardware. Cancel this and re-
install the SB software from the CD that came with the
card. If this is a new card, then these are the latest
drivers.
Good Luck - I have the same crappy card (should have
bought Turtle Beach).

Hi I gave it a go but the darned thing hung up half way through, so I did a
system restore and reloaded the software. seems OK......for now!
