Device Manager error codes

Whenever my PC downloads updates, there are 2 devices on
the Device Manager with exclamation marks/errors. One of
the items is the MPU-401 Compatible MIDI Device and the
other is a Standard Game Port. I have tried the
troubleshooting steps but I don't know what an MPU-401...
Device is so I can't check to make sure it is properly
plugged in. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling
and still get the same error - code 10 - can't start. I
just simply use to uninstall these 2 items every time my
PC updated. However I just bought an Ipod mini and had
to install a USB 2.0 Port Card since my PC'c USB was not
high speed. The PC won't install the software for the
card sucessfully and I'm wondering if these problems are
all related. Can someone please help me - what is the
MPU device I'm suppose to make sure is plugged in
propoerly? What is the Standard Game Port? And why
won't my PC accept the Port Card?

It Means you need appropriate sound drivers.
Maybe use Aida32 analyser.
Maybe look at sound card for specifics or motherboard book if sound is
onboard.
