Yesterday when I went on my computer, my desktop was grey. I tried
changing
the picture to something else but I can't select ANY of the default
pics
or
even assaign any of my own pics as the desktop picture. The only
thing

let's me do is change the color. Any suggestions?

update the defintions before performing a full system scan.

Once free of parasites then edit the registry at the following
locations.
[HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\ActiveDesktop]
and/or
[HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\ActiveDesktop]
In the right-hand pane, delete "NoChangingWallPaper" or change the
value
to 0.
[HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System]
and/or
[HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System]
In the right-hand pane, delete "Wallpaper" and "WallpaperStyle".
