Desktop icons

My wife loaded an xmen2 theme and for some reason even
when she uninstalled it, it left behind the icons for the
recycle bin, network neighborhood and my computer with
windows icons like they're unassociated with any program.
Please help and tell me how I can recover my standard
icons. Thanks!

R-click on the desktop and select "Refresh" , if the problem returns,
locate and delete "ShellIconCache"(it is a "hidden" file so switch on
Show Hidden files, in Folder Options under Tools) file found in the
WinNT subdirectory and restart the PC.
