Desktop - Display Properties

I accidently removed my desktop picture when running the System Optimizer of
Systweak. No problemI thought: right-click on the Desktop, go to Display
Properties and import the picture again from My Documents. But this is no
longer possible since a right-click on the Desktop will now no longer produce
the Display Properties-window I used to get. It has far fewer options: no
more pre-installed desktops, no more option for stretched/centered and no
more browse/import tab. How can I get my old Display Properties-window back?

Now that's what I call 'optimization'. Stay away from so-called optimization software. You don't need it and it causes trouble.

Does your lovely program come with an 'undo' function? If so I would use it. Otherwise you're into trying to guess what the program did, since there are no standard procedures for this genre of software.

Issue : Display Properties - Some of the tabs are missing

Start Regedit.exe and navigate these two locations:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System]

In the right-pane, delete the following values if found:

- NoDispAppearancePage
- NoThemesTab
- NoDispBackgroundPage
- NoDispScrSavPage
- NoDispSettingsPage
