Desktop Build Version

I had accidentally activated the PaintDesktopVersion in
the registry. Thus it displays the Windows Build number in
the desktop.

The registry key is
HKEY_Current_User\Control Panel\Desktop

I had tried to disable the registry key by putting a 0
instead. Reboot the system, the build version still exists.
I had tried with the setting 1 as well.

How can I safely disable the build existence in the
desktop?

Hi Dave,

Thanks for the suggestion, however I had tried these 2
settings after your reply.

The result remains.
Thanks
