Deleting files - free space remains unchanged

Rob

I have a machine running Win 2k and Service Pack 4.

This moring I deleted 9Gig's worth of files from C. However, the free space
of the drive remains unchanged at around 20MB.

I have tried all the obvious places e.g recycle bin, running defrag,
rebooting etc but with no joy!

Does anyone have any ideas how I can make Windows realise the files have
been deleted?

Also, I am running Norton System Work. I think this may have something to
do with it.

Any advice appreciated,

Cheers,

Rob

Norton Protected Recycle Bin? Try purging the files in the Norton
program. That Norton System Work is no good for Windows 2000.
