deleted pers folder in OUTLOOK2000

I accidentally deleted "my pers" folder.
I shut down outlook
Its possible under the password compressible encryption I
pressed enter. I didnt reselect the button that said no
password.
I found mailbox.pst and copied to backup drive.
on either the orig or backup copy it wants a password to
get into mailbox.pst. I have no clue what the password
might be except space and enter which tried.
Do I have any options? I'm not sure I know how to get back
here. Appreciate a direct email if poss.
