delete Desktop Background entries

When you rt-clk on the Desktop and select Properties,
a Display Properties panel appears.
Clicking on the Desktop tab, a "Background" window
displays image selections for the Desktop.
I'd like to delete some of those entries,
but how can it be done?

Delete the graphics files that are used.
Try C:\WINDOWS\Web\Wallpaper

In additona to C:\Windows\Web\Wallpaper, backgrounds are also taken from
C:\Windows and your personal My Pictures.

Windows XP fetches the image files from the following paths:

BMP Files from C:\WINDOWS

BMP, JPG, GIF, JPE, DIB, PNG, HTM files from the following locations:

C:\Windows\Web\Wallpaper
C:\Documents and Settings\<USER NAME>\My Documents\My Pictures [& ALL THE
SUB-FOLDERS]
C:\Documents and Settings\<USER NAME>\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer
C:\Program Files\Plus!\Themes [*** & ALL THE SUB-FOLDERS ***]
