Delete briefcase

Hi,

I am having problems deleting a briefcase that I was experimenting with.

I have created a briefcase by selecting a folder and selecting File, New,
Briefcase from the file explorer window. A folder called Briefcase was
placed in that folder.

When I try and delete the folder I get a message stating that "A Briefcase
cannot be deleted while it is open, Close the briefcase before deleting it"

Unfortunately I cannot work out how to open the briefcase. I have searched
the www and all help articles simply stat "Open briefcase" but do not tell
me how to open it. Some state that I should double click on the briefcase.
When I double click on the folder, nothing happens. If I right click and
select open, a new file explorer window opens, If I select File close from
the menu the file explorer window is simply closed (as expected) But I still
cannot delete the briefcase folder.

Any assistance will be appreciated.

Sean,

If the Briefcase is on your desktop, close Windows Explorer and then delete
the Briefcase. It's not deleting whle Windows Explorer is open. Why? Your
guess is as good as mine. If it's not on your desktop, open Windows Explorer
and drag it there, close Windows Explorer and delete from desktop.

It's looks like if a Windows Explorer window is open to view the contents of
Briefcase then it can't be deleted. After I click into another folder I can
then delete Briefcase.
