Delete a user name in the From line

I imported another user name that I had in OE into Windows Mail. Now when I
reply or forward a message, that username appears in the From line. However
when I create a new mail, my main user name appears which is what I want to
happen in all instances. I know I can change the user name from the drop
down in the From line, but that is inconvenient and I mostly forget to do
this, therefore my recipients tend to delete my mail as spam. I have since
deleted that other user name with my ISP, but I don't know how to delete it
from appearing in the From line.

under account settings for that account a\change the names there.
you probably want the reply address box address changed.

Pretty simple. Just go into Tools, Accounts, select the bad account, click Remove.
