Delayed Write Error Message When downloading Large Files?

T

This has only recently become a problem. When I try to download large files, one in
particular is about 298 MB update file for a program that I have, I get a Delayed Write
Error Message, making the download unusable. Any suggestions?

After saving the file to a Temp folder, it's rewritten where you
directed it to be stored. You might empty all temp folders using the
Disk Cleanup button in My Computer, C: drive, Properties. Couldn't hoit!

You might want to consider turning off write caching to see if that fixes
the problem, as well.

If you go into My Computer, right-click on the drive you're having problems
with, click Hardware, click on the drive you're having problems with, click
properties, uncheck "Enable write caching" and hit OK twice, that might
take care of the problem.
